My name is Brendan and I am from Ireland. My favorite animal is the monkey. My favorite food is Chinese. When I was two I ran into a shopping cart and then I got stitches. My favorite sport is soccer and I like horses.                                                                                

My snapping turtle

Oh no a guy is picking me up. I started to look around. He was giving me to a boy. I don’t want to go. But before I could bite I was in an aquarium with some water and some grass and some food. After that he was taking me outside I think.  I was right he was taking me outside. Woo hoo I’m free at last. We were going into the backyard. He was going to let me crawl around. I got a plan when he’s not looking I'll crawl away. I tried to do it but he caught me. After that it was time for dinner. The boy fed me turtle food and grass and some water. Then my new home was done but before it was time for bed they got me some leaves then it was time for bed. The next day the boy fed me some breakfast and it was yummy. When we were done we went outside to play. Now I can try to get away one more time. I tried to get away but he caught me. When we were done I went swimming in my house it was fun. When I was done I got to play with the boy’s friends it was fun. When they had to go home for lunch it was time for us to go inside for lunch. When we were done we went to play some more.  Do you want to know something? Some of the kids got to hold me!  We played all day with them. After that it was time for dinner so the kids had to go home. After dinner it was time for bed. Four weeks later I had to go home with my real mom and my real dad and brothers and sisters because my owner had to go on vacation and no one would want to watch me. So they let me go but I didn’t want to go home because I wanted to stay with him. The End

The Nature walk

In first grade I went to Hilton head for my dad’s cousin’s wedding. When I was there and my brothers and my dad went on a nature walk it had a sign that said when we are there we might see calm and gentle animals and it had a danger sign that said we might see some cotton mouths and alligators and poisonous frogs. When we got into the woods we heard a sound in the leaves and it was a cottonmouth but it didn’t bite us because we walk quietly away. After that we went on a bridge we saw some men standing next to the railing they were looking at the water for alligators they said that they saw a mother alligator they know it was a mother alligator because it had its baby’s in its mouth. After that we said goodbye to the men and we keep going. After that we got tired so we sat down to rest my dad said he’s going to look for the exit. When he came back h said that he didn’t find the exit but he found a porch and it was 10feet high. When we got up there I saw a little frog and it was 1inch big it was awesome I said can I keep it but my dad said NO. After that we went out for lunch.

The Nature walk (new and revised)

When I was 6 years old I went to Hilton Head for my cousins wedding. When we were there me and  my  brothers and my dad went on a nature walk.  It was hard to find. At the place it had a sign that had when we are there we might find some calm animals and it had a danger sign that had when we are there we might find some COTTONMOUTHS and some ALLIGATORS and some POISONOUS FROGS when I read that I got scared. When we got into the woods we heard a crackling in the leaves and it was a cottonmouth and then my little brother Liam screamed snake but it didn’t bite us because we walked quietly away. The next thing we new was that we were on a bridge all of a sudden we froze in the middle of the bridge because of two men. The men told us that they saw a mother alligator they know it is a mother alligator because it let it’s baby’s out of its big jaws. We said goodbye to the men and they said goodbye to and we left. After that me and my brothers got tired so we sat down on a log my dad said I’ll look for the exit trying to catch his breathe. When he came back he said we have a long way to go still but I found a very big porch. When we got up to the top I could look over the trees when I stared into a tree I saw a little frog it was amazing because it was one inch big I asked can I have but he said NO I begged him but he still didn’t let me have it. After I went on that nature walk I never wanted to go home.

George Eastman Field trip

When my class went to the George Eastman house I was surprised and happy and the same time . When it was time to go I sat with my mom and my friend Brandon C.B. So when the bus started to move everyone got happy.So when we were on the road my mom took out bingo to play with my group. When we got there everyone was happy because we got there when I got off the bus I walked inside and found my group in a pile of kids. When it was time to go into the house the first room was the living room. In the living room there was two desks and a piano but when Madison saw the violins she just had to show me. The next room we went to was the dinning room it was filled with lots of silver and gold and the walls were painted with blue and gold paint. I have lots more to tell but it’s too much.The End
